Volunteer: Clean, Drain, Dry Flyer Outreach

One of the best ways to protect the lake is to educate and inform beachgoers about the ways they can be part of the solution. We want to continue to educate the public on the importance of practicing "Clean, Drain, Dry" with all motorized and non-motorized equipment alike!

Clean, Drain, Dry is the easiest way to prevent Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) from getting into Lake Tahoe and surrounding pristine lakes. With the emerging threat from golden mussels, we need volunteers now more than ever before to help Keep Tahoe Blue!

We are asking for volunteer assistance with hanging up "Clean, Drain, Dry" flyers in local businesses within the Lake Tahoe Basin. We will provide a list of businesses, ensuring volunteers/KTB staff aren't going to the same place multiple times. We're asking volunteers to commit to at least one hour of posting flyers but are able to volunteer for longer shifts if interested, we can adjust the volunteer hours to reflect the time spent out in the field.

If you're interested in this opportunity, please sign up here and email protect@keeptahoeblue.org to coordinate equipment pickup from the KTB office during business hours, between Mondays and Fridays (2877 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, Ca 96150).
