Celebrate the next chapter in protecting Lake Tahoe! The League has a new home. You’re invited to help us open the doors.
Join us for the grand opening of the Keep Tahoe Blue Spurlock/Evers Environment & Education Center, a purpose-built hub for science, stewardship, and community action. This space transforms learning into doing, with interactive exhibits and hands-on resources that empower everyone to help Keep Tahoe Blue.
Volunteer support will help facilitate the bike valet and also help folks who park across the street find their way across the cross walk to the building.
What you’ll experience:
- Explore staff-led tours of immersive exhibits that bring Tahoe science to life, featuring native species, water clarity tools, and real-time lake data. League staff will share the stories behind each exhibit.
- Engage with League programs at educational booths that spotlight Eyes on the Lake clean water science, the upcoming Emerald Bay Shuttle pilot program, and volunteer-powered impact through Tahoe Blue Crews.
- Local Vendors: Enjoy beer and food truck bites for purchase. Bring your reusable bottle (a water-filling station will be available).
- Live Music by Wes and Liz to kick off the celebration and set the perfect mood.
- Easy Arrival: Free bike valet will be provided, and alternative transportation options make getting here simple.
