Keep Tahoe Blue staff and volunteers will share information and conduct surveys at businesses throughout El Dorado and Placer counties, aimed at reducing single-use plastics.
This opportunity will occur at different times on various days, please sign up for the shift that best fits your schedule. The meeting location will be disclosed after people have signed up. We are going to El Dorado County (Meyers) or Placer County (Tahoma to Kings Beach).
At the start of the shift, volunteers and staff will meet and staff will provide information on how to talk about the topic with businesses, what we will be surveying and the game plan for the day.
What to wear/bring: Please wear a Keep Tahoe Blue shirt and nametag if you have one. Please refrain from wearing logos from other brands or slogans. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress presentable and for the weather. Bring your reusable water bottle and any snacks you may want during your shift.
