This Jimmy Buffett Day, Margaritaville is celebrating Jimmy's legacy with its third annual, brand-wide Day of Service—honoring the way he lived by giving back, supporting our local community, and leaving the world a little better than we found it.
At Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, Margaritaville and Keep Tahoe Blue for a community clean-up on Friday, August 28, from 9:00–11:00 AM. Join us in helping protect Lake Tahoe's environmental health, sustainability, and legendary blue waters by keeping our community litter-free. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Meeting Location: Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe (4130 Lake Tahoe Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe, California). Check in will be in the lobby.
Parking: Lake Link, walk, or ride your bike to Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe.
Date/Time: August 28, 2026 from 9 am to 11 am
Sign up:

- Final details will be sent a few days prior to the event to those that sign up.
- Volunteers under 18 – will need to create a volunteer account and provide a guardian email to complete the waiver online.
- Volunteers under 13 – will need to provide a guardian email to create a volunteer account and complete the waiver online.
Be sure to bring:
- Full reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Cleanup gloves (if you have them)
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Any snacks you would like
We provide:
- Cleanup materials (gloves, bags, etc.)
- Gloves and hand sanitizer
- Refreshments
