Join us for an Eyes on the Lake training during our Labor Day Cleanup! This training is open to the public, all ages welcome.
Learn how to identify Tahoe's various native and invasive aquatic plants, and how to report observations that allow the League and our partners to control new populations of aquatic invaders before they do lasting damage to Lake Tahoe.
Location: Kings Beach State Recreation Area near boat launch parking lot| 8603 Brockway Vista Ave, Kings Beach, CA 96143
Be sure to bring:
- Cell phone
- Full reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, and shoes
- Any snacks you would like
Further details:
Volunteers under 13 without an email will need to have a guardian sign the waiver, and the volunteer must bring the signed waiver to the event. The guardian may also attend the event and can sign off for the minor at the event.
