Join us for the Great Sierra River Cleanup and help remove litter from Lake Tahoe's pristine environment. Cleanups are important for a healthy Lake Tahoe because litter that is left in the environment is harmful to humans and local wildlife. Be part of the solution today! You will be joining other volunteers throughout the Sierra Nevada mountain range, coordinated by the Sierra Nevada Alliance (check out the other sites here). This event is also in conjunction with the California Coastal Cleanup Day and National Public Lands Day! So many amazing people are cleaning up the planet on this day during this time!
